Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted – Official Trailer

I worked as Senior Layout Artist at Gizmo Animation Studio on the official trailer for "Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted", the return of the classic that started it all, with Peashooter, Sunflower, Crazy Dave and the zombies back on the lawn.

My work focused on translating the storyboard and animatic into 3D: camera work, lens choices, staging and shot composition, along with blocking character positions and timing to set the rhythm and comedic beats of each sequence before handing it off to animation, while keeping continuity from shot to shot.

Thanks to the whole team at Gizmo for such a fun project. It was a joy to work with characters this iconic.
