Infinite | DNEG

I worked as Senior Layout TD at DNEG (Montreal) on Paramount Pictures' Infinite. The clips below are some of the shots I worked on, alongside DNEG's VFX breakdown for the film.

My responsibilities on the film included:

Shot builds: assembling shots in Maya from tracked cameras, environments, vehicles and characters, establishing scale, composition and staging.
Continuity offset scenes: building and maintaining sequence-level scenes with per-shot offsets, so environments and assets stay consistent from shot to shot while allowing the adjustments each camera angle needs.
Camera blends: blending matchmoved plate cameras with CG cameras to create seamless transitions between live action and full-CG sections.
Full-CG shots: designing camera moves and staging for fully CG shots, matching the style and lensing of the photographed footage.
Delivery: publishing cameras, layouts and scene data for the animation, FX, lighting and compositing teams.
Thanks to the whole team at DNEG for a great project.
