Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness | Trixter VFX
I worked as Senior Layout TD & Matchmove Artist at Trixter (Munich) on Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The clips below are some of my shots, alongside Trixter's VFX breakdown for the film.
My responsibilities on the film included:
Camera tracking: solving live-action plates in 3DEqualizer, including lens distortion and survey-based solves, to deliver accurate, stable cameras.
Object and body tracking: matchmoving actors, props and set pieces so that magic effects and CG elements lock precisely to the performances.
Shot layout: assembling shots in Maya from tracked cameras, environments and characters, establishing scale, composition and staging for full-CG and plate-based shots.
Camera work: creating and refining CG cameras, and extending matchmoved cameras where the shot called for it.
Delivery: publishing cameras, geometry and scene layouts for the animation, FX, lighting and compositing teams.
Thanks to the whole team at Trixter. It was a pleasure to contribute to a Marvel Studios film.
