Unbreakable Bonds – Civilization: Eras & Allies

I worked as Senior Layout Artist at Gizmo Animation Studio (Argentina) on "Unbreakable Bonds", a cinematic trailer for 2K's Civilization: Eras & Allies, an action-driven piece about alliances forged on the battlefield.

My work focused on translating the storyboard and animatic into 3D: camera work, lens choices, staging and shot composition, along with blocking character positions and timing to set the rhythm of each sequence before handing it off to animation. With large-scale battle shots, a big part of the job was keeping the action readable and the continuity consistent from shot to shot.
